Know the state of a plan
A saved draft is not a locked plan, and a locked plan is not a trade. An alert is not an order. Account linking, lock, trigger, order submission, and fill are distinct states. Check the relevant confirmation and evidence before treating an action as complete.
Plans, rules, and backtests
A clear rule can still express a bad idea. You can confirm the wrong market, size, direction, or exit. A backtest replays history under its own data, fee, and slippage assumptions. A backtest is not a forecast and does not predict future results.
Leverage and liquidation
Leverage magnifies gains and losses. Leveraged positions can lose value rapidly and may be liquidated when margin is insufficient. On leveraged products you can lose more than your initial deposit. Funding, fees, and other costs affect results. Stops and risk limits do not eliminate these risks.
Execution and data
A trigger price and a fill price can differ. Slippage, thin liquidity, rapid moves, and partial fills can affect execution, and a maximum slippage setting can leave an order unfilled. Delayed data, or an outage at a data feed or venue, can stop a plan from firing or an exit from executing. Separate orders are not one atomic trade.
Following and records
Fair follow orders Jackfa’s own submissions. Separate orders can get different fills, so a follower’s result can differ from the author’s and from other followers’. Jackfa cannot see or control an author’s trades elsewhere. A plan lock proves timing, not quality, and a record is not a complete view of someone’s trading.
Permissions and infrastructure
A trade-only permission cannot withdraw funds, but trading access can still cause losses. A connected service depends on its software, account permissions, venues, data sources, networks, and other providers. Keeping funds in your own wallet does not remove software, market, or operational risk, and beta software can contain errors.
Advice, eligibility, and availability
Jackfa is a planning and record-keeping tool, not financial advice, and no plan on it is a recommendation. Features and markets, including equities, which come later, may be unavailable in some locations or to some users. Review the terms and disclosures of each connected service before use.
